d. Still in Sajdah recite-Subhana rabbika rabbil ‘izzati ‘amma yasifuna wa salamun ‘ala-l-mursalina wa-l-hamdu lillahi rabbi-l-’alameen” (Surah Saffat 37, verses 180-181-182) or any darood 3x
e. Blow over your self and also into few bottles of water. You can use the water for drinking, this recited water can also be sprayed all over the house, bed, washed clothes, place of work and business for blessings.
Note: This amal is extremely beneficial inshallah for every thing, for ever difficulty and for every deadly sickness and pain.

There are great benefits of reciting Allah’s name “YA ARHAMAR RAAHEMEEN” (O Most Merciful of the Merciful) some them are as follows..
1.According to a Hadeeth: Hazrat Abu Umama Rad RA narrates that the Holy Prophet (saw) has said that Allah has appointed an angel. If anyone says: YA ARHAMAR RAAHEMEEN, the Angel responds: “No doubt, The Most Merciful has FOCUSED all his ATTENTION towards you, ASK FOR WHATEVER YOU PLEASE.” (Hakim)
2.According to another Hadeeth: When the Prophet Muhammad (SALLALLA HO ALAIYHE WASALLAM) heard someone saying: “YA ARHAMAR RAAHEMEEN”, he said “ASK FOR WHATEVER YOU PLEASE FOR ALLAAH’S BOUNTIFUL GASE IS FOCUSED TOWARDS YOU”
3.Zayd Bin Haris (may Allah be pleased with him), one of the greatest Sahabas (companion of the Holy Prophet), was going to a distant land. The mule rider, whom he had hired, wanted to kill him. Getting permission, Zayd bin Haris performed two rakats of salat. Then he said: ” YA ARHAMAR RAAHEMEEN,” (O! Most Gracious and Most Merciful) three times. As he said each one, a voice saying, “Do not kill him!” was heard. The mule rider went out thinking that there was somebody outside, and then came back in. After the third recitation, a cavalryman with a sword in his hand appeared and killed the mule rider. Then turning to Zaid, he said, “When you began to say, ” YA ARHAMAR RAAHEMEEN,” I was in the seventh heaven. When you said it for the second time, I reached the first heaven. At the moment you recited it for the third time, I was here and rescued you.” Zaid understood that he was an angel.

5. Recite the personal wazifa abundantly

Just imagine that if a beggar non stop and continuously begs before the door of most miserly person, sooner or later he would defiantly get a positive answer, we should therefore keep in mind that if this is the case with a miser, will we not get an answere to our problems if we continuously beg and cry before our Most Merciful and Most Gentle Lord ?
With intentions that Allah’s full fill’s all your needs, and remove all your difficulties known and unknown and to bless you with peaceful and happy life, recite this wazifa abundantly day and night without any limits when traveling, siting, standing, laying, during free times when busy as much as you can, InshaAllah this will open up all doors of blessings for its reciter.

Remove Those Old Stains Of Sins With Salatul Tasbeeh

Posted by islamicexorcism on January 19, 2012

In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful. May complete Peace, Blessings and Mercy of Allah be upon the Last Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) forever forever.
Salatut Tasbeeh is a very important and meritorious form of salah. This is evident from several ahadith, wherein Rasulullah salallahu alayhi wasallam emphasised on it and enjoined it as a matter of great kindness and favour. As such, the Úlama, Jurists, Muhadditheen, and Sufis throughout the centuries have been particular in offering this Salah. Sayyiduna Abbas t has narrated that he was once informed by Rasulullah salallahu alayhi wasallam ”O Abbas! Should I not present to you? Should I not confer to you? Should I not inform you of such an act, which if you practise (these wordings of similar meaning were repeated in order to capture the attention of the listener, to emphasise the importance of the salah so as to instil a yearning to perform it), Allah I will forgive all your sins, whether old or new, intentional or unintentional, minor or major, open or secret.” (After describing the method of performing this salah) Nabi salallahu alayhi wasallam stated, ”If possible, you should offer this salah once everyday, and if you cannot perform it daily, then offer it on every Friday (weekly), or once a month, or once a year or at least once in your lifetime.” [Sunan Abu Dawud #1297]

Hizbul Wiqaya: A Prayer for Spiritual Elevation and Protection

Posted by islamicexorcism on December 30, 2011

In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful. May complete Peace, Blessings and Mercy of Allah be upon the Last Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) forever forever. The hizb / prayer described on this post is of great sufi saint Ibn ‘Arabi RA of the 12th century, his great knowledge and wisdom is reflected in every word of his hizb. Hizbul Wiqaya (“Orison of Protection”) is also known as “The Loftiest Pearl” [ad dawral ala] is well known in the sufi world for its remarkable power and exalted beauty. It is said that whoever reads it with sincerity of heart and utter conviction, while making a specific plea, will have their wish granted.

These prayers (salawat, ahzab, awrad) [of ibn ‘Arabi], transmitted from master to disciple, are much more than pious litanies. These are inspired invocations, each structured around a series of Divine Names and Quranic verses each containing several secrets and mysteries.

In al-fuyudat ar-rabbaniyya by Al-Qadiri, Isma’il, the merits and properties of this litany are described as follows: If someone learns it by heart, he will be safe from all earthly and heavenly tribulations, and protected from all satanic afflictions and injuries, as well as those caused by the jinn and humans. It is useful as a shield against disaster and the plague, against the sandstorm, and against sorcery and difficulty in childbearing. It contributes to the solution of knotty problems. It is a firm fortress, a secure refuge, and a trustworthy safeguard against the cunning plots of one’s enemies, and a valuable aid to victory over them, both outwardly and inwardly. This is especially true of someone who is diligent in reciting it after the obligatory dawn prayer [salatu-l fajr]. Obedience will be paid to him from both the higher and the lower reaches of the universe. He will experience the marvels and wonders that result from effectiveness of speech. People will flock toward him, and they will approach him with love, admiration, affection, honour and veneration, because this is one of Allah’s amazing secrets, and one of His extraordinary guarded treasures.

It is strictly necessary, however, at the time of its recitation, for there to be presence of heart, sincerity of intention, and diligent concentration. True benefits reside in true convictions, so you must recognize its worth, for then you will experience its blessed grace and goodness, if Allah (exalted is He) so wills.

The Arabic and English versions of Hizbul Wiqaya has been uploaded for the benefit of all, anyone Inshaallah may use it with good and clean intention to address their needs and problems.

Salaatul Hajaat : A Powerful Prayer for every need

Posted by islamicexorcism on November 12, 2011

Salaatul Hajaat is a prayer offered for the accomplishment of a particular purpose or need. It consists of a fresh ablution done carefully, followed by a calm prayer of two units of salaat, then a sincere supplication that states what one wishes to be accomplished and requesting Allah Ta’ala’s for his help and assistance in its accomplishment.

Almighty Allah says in the holy Quran : “And seek help with patience and salah, verily this is difficult but for the submissive servants.”[Surah Baqrah Verse 45]

Human beings are always in need of Allah’s mercy and bounties, regardless of a person being in adversity or not, and therefore he has commanded us to seek his help, in a manner which pleases him and is taught to us by our Prophet SAW

A hadith states that Huzaifa (R.A.) said, ‘Whenever a matter became serious, the Prophet SAW turned to Salaah. (Recorded by Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Hafiz ibn Hajar has quoted it in his book Fathul Baari and has said, ‘It is with a good sanad’), furthermore, Imam Ahmad RA has on sound authority reported from Abu Darda RA that the Prophet SAW said: “He who makes wudu, and does it properly, then prays two rak’at, Allah will grant him whatever he may pray for, sooner or later.”

The tradition shows that the Prophet SAW himself would turn to Salaah whenever he was affected or confronted with anything. As such, a need is one which is a matter of seriousness and turning to Salaah and supplication is indeed one of the best ways to fulfil it. In fact the believers are ordered in the Holy Quran to ‘Seek help in patience and Salaah’. Hence, turning to Salaah for assistance in fulfilling one’s need is from the guidance which Allah has given to the believers in the Holy Quran.

Many traditionists and jurists have generally accepted the act of Salaatul Hajaat as one that is commendable and encouraged act of seeking assistance from Allah. It is with respect to this general acceptance, we see that many of the great and reliable jurists and scholars of the former and latter times have dedicated a chapter in their respective books called ‘Salaah Al Hajaat’.

Fatwa’s regarding Salatul Hajaat from Hanafi Sources: Salaatul Hajaat is essentially to raise one’s need to Allah Most High, by performing ritual ablution (Wudu), praying 2 Rakats, and then making whole-hearted Dua to Allah. If one uses the mentioned Prophetic supplication, or other similar supplications transmitted from the Beloved Messenger of Allah SAW, it is best. (Al-Fatawa al-Hindiyya; Ibn Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar)

In this manner, the act of performing Salaah Al Hajah has been endorsed and recorded by many leading traditionists and jurists from among the former and latter scholars in their respective books.

As such, it is one which is commendable and acceptable in the teachings of Islam. It is not fabricated, nor is it a Bid’ah. The handful of people and their respective scholors who discourage people from practising Salaatul Hajaat should in fact follow these ahadith in which we have been strictly instructed to follow the majority and not deviate from the majority…
1. The holy Prophet(Sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said “Without doubt my Ummah will never be gathered in misguidance. Whenever you see disagreement, then hold fast to the Sawad-e-Azam (the great majority)” [Ibne Majah]
2. The holy Prophet(Sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said ” Follow the way of the largest group of Muslims! For, he who deviates from this group will be thrown into Hell!” [Ibne Majah]
3. The holy Prophet(Sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said ” Allah will never allow my Ummah to unite upon misguidance and incorrect beliefs. Allah’s mercy, blessings and protection are with the largest group of Muslims. And he who deviates from this largest group of Muslims will be thrown into Hell.” [ Tirmizi]
4. The holy Prophet(Sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said ” He who deviates from the largest group of Muslims, even as much as a hand span, has himself cut off his connection with Islam.” [Abu Daud, Imam Ahmed]

The inward manners of supplication is exhibiting our neediness and absolute slavehood to Allah, consigning one’s matters to Allah, and knowing that the only one who gives or benefits is Allah Most High. With this, one should be certain that Allah Most High answers our duas, but in the way He knows is best for us.

When circumstances do not permit us to pray 2 rakats, one should still turn to Allah in supplication, raising one’s needs to Him, for He answers our supplications and loves being asked.

Important Notes related to Salaatul Hajaat
1.Put on clean clothes and make wadhu with full concentration and use miswaak if possible as it would increase the blessings of salaat.
2.Select a clean place free from all distractions so that the salaat can be offered with full concentration.
3.Women ensure you are covering your hair as per the hajaab rulings essential for any salaat.
4.The entire amal of salaatul Hajaat should be done with full concentration, and imagining that Allah is seeing your every action and is listening to every word, keeping this in mind, try to please Allah with the best salaat, best Qiraat, maximum humbleness and humility considering yourself as a beggar in need.
5.Offer 2 units salaat patiently, with prolonged qirat, prolonged ruku and sajdah and never hurry up.
6.Understand and ponder over the meaning of prophetic dua’s used in Salaatul Hajaat as it would make the dua effective.
7.One should offer salaatul Hajaat every day or night, till one is convinced that his need is being fulfilled by Allah.

Format of Salaatul Hajaat
This format is not from hadith related to Salaatul Hajaat (however, it is derived from other ahadith and practices of pious) and hence its not mandatory to follow this while offering salaatul hajaat. We are sharing this format based on our knowledge, inshaAllah, this format will make the amal makbool/ acceptable in the sight of Allah.

After offering 2 units salaatul Hajaat and before getting up or moving from the place of salaat, facing qiblah, raise your hands for dua and recite
1.Aoozubillaahi Mi-nash ShYataan Ir-rajeem BisMillaah Ir-Rah-maan Ir-Ra-heem -1x

9.Blow 3x over the chest, then 3x into both the hands, and the wipe the hands over the face, arms and body.

Dua 1 of Offering Salaatul Hajaat

 Salaatul Hajaat Dua 1

Hazrat Abullah ibn Abi Awfa RA relates that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Whoever has a need with Allah, or with any human being, then let them perform ritual ablutions well and then pray two Rakats. After that, let them praise Allah and send blessings on the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). After this, let them say: “La ilaha illallahul Halimul karim, Subhanallahi Rabbil Arshil Azim, Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alamin, Asaluka Mujibaati Rahmatika Wa Azaa’ima maghfiratika Wal Ghanimata Min Kulli Birrin, Was salamata Min Kulli Ithmin, La Tada’ Li Zanmban Illa Ghafartahu, Wa la Hamman Illa Farrajtahu, Wa la hajatan hiya Laka Ridhan Illa Qadhaitaha, Ya Arhamar Rahimeen.”

Meaning: There there no god but Allah the Clement and Wise. There is no god but Allah the High and Mighty. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Tremendous Throne.
All praise is to Allah, Lord of the worlds. I ask you (O Allah) everything that leads to your mercy, and your tremendous forgiveness, enrichment in all good, and freedom from all sin. Do not leave a sin of mine (O Allah), except that you forgive it, nor any concern except that you create for it an opening, nor any need in which there is your good pleasure except that you fulfill it, O Most Merciful!

(Related by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah. The Hadith has some weakness, but it is slight: such Hadiths are acted upon for virtuous deeds (fada’il al-a`mal) by general agreement of the scholars. Furthermore, it has been practiced over the years from the time of the Sahabah (Radiallahu Anhum) until now.)

In this regard, the celebrated Muhaddith (traditionist) and Faqeeh (jurist), Ibn Qudama (died 620 A.H.) has mentioned ‘the chapter of Salaah Al Hajah in his famous and authentic book, ‘Al Mugni’. In this he writes ‘The chapter of Salaah Al Hajah’. From Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (R.A.), he said that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.S.) said, ‘whoever has a need from Allah or from any of the children of Adam, let him perform wazu and do it good. Then let him perform two rakaats and glorify Allah and send blessings upon the Prophet. Then he should say, ‘La ilaha Illalahul Kareem …..’. (Al Mugni Vol. 1 Pg. 134)

Dua 2 of offering Salaatul Hajaat

 Salaatul Hajaat Dua 2

On the authority of Hazrat Uthman bin Hunaif RA that a blind man came to the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and asked him to invoke Allah so that he is cured. The Prophet replied that invocation could be postponed if he wanted to since it would be better for him that way or he (Prophet) could supplicate for him (right now). He asked to supplicate. The Prophet ordered him for a well performed ablution and to pray two raka’at and then follow it with the following supplication: “O Allah! I am asking you and I am attending to you with/through Your Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), the Prophet of mercy. O Muhammad! (s.a.w) I am attending to my Lord through you so my request gets answered. O Allah! Accept his mediation (Prophet’s prayer) for me.

Collection Of 500 Short and Easy Hadith

Introduction to Ahadith It goes without saying that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has left us with two powerful sources for the improvement of the individual, the society and for the nations, those are: the Holy Quran and ahadith. The Quran was revealed to the Last Messenger (peace be upon him) through the angel Gabriel. The ahadith show us the diversities a single person can have, and the ways these diversities may be used to produce an optimal performance, where the performance is exemplary for future generations. This was one of the main tasks of the Last Messenger (peace be upon him), to guide humanity on the right path. Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a son, a husband, a father, an advisor, a warrior, a leader, a judge and most important of all, he was the Seal of the Prophets – the last messenger of Allah. A man with such a character and such a vast field of responsibility is indeed deserving of biographical study, and through the ages, biographical researches have been carried out. The collection of ahadith is the result of these researchers. The study of ahadith is a science itself. To mention some branches within the study of ahadith, there is the science of Asma’ul Rijal (the science of study of the life-history of 500,000 narrators), the science of Mustalih al-Hadith (the science of classifying a hadith as authentic or weak), the science of Gharib al-hadith (the study of the linguistic origins of the difficult words used in ahadith). I have mentioned only three different sciences though this list can extend to over 100. This again indicates the immense importance of ahadith and the importance of understanding them.

The main source of ahadith can be found in six sahihs. These six sahihs are: Sahih al-Bukhari (d. 256 A.H. = 870 A.D.)

Sahih Muslim (d. 261 A.H. = 875 A.D.)

Sunan Ibn Majah (d. 273 A.H. = 887 A.D.)

Sunan Abu Dawud (d. 275 A.H. = 888 A.D.)

Jami al-Tirmidhi (d. 279 A.H. = 892 A.D.)

Sunan al-Nisai (d. 303 A.H. = 915 A.D.)

A.H. = After Hegira A.D. = Anno Domini

“In preparing their collections, these Traditions obviously used a critical technique to decide what they would include and what they should reject. Bukhari, for example, examined 600,000 traditions of which he excepted only 7,397. There purpose was to assemble a body of traditions which would serve as a rule of life for practising Muslims, so their primary interest was in selecting such traditions as would give clear guidance concerning what Muslims belief and practice should be, what things were permissible and approved, and what were not permissible and disapproved.” (Shariah: The Islamic Law. by Abdur Rahman I. Doi:54)

It should be quite evident from the above cited paragraph that the task of compiling ahadith was by no means simple. Although the most painstaking techniques had been employed to decide which ahadith should be included and which should be rejected there were found grounds for classification of ahadith. The ahadith are therefore classified in the following manner: 1.Sahih: These are the genuine Traditions so declared after applying all tests. 2.Hasan: These are the fair Traditions although inferior in the matter of authenticity to the Sahih. 3. Daif: These are the weak traditions which are not so very reliable.” (Ibid:57).

Before I proceed, I wish to explain the meanings of isnad and matn as the understanding of these words is considered profitable for the reader. A hadith consists of two parts. The chain of transmitters comprises one part while the message within the hadith completes it. The former is known as isnad while the latter is matn. Continuing with the classification of ahadith, the daif ahadith are divided further: a The Mu’allaq Traditions: These are those Traditions in which one or two transmitters are omitted in the beginning of the Isnad. b. The Maqtu Traditions: These are those Traditions which are reported by a Tabi’i, a man of second category after the Prophet. c. The Munqati Traditions: These are the broken Traditions. d. The Mursal Traditions: These are the incomplete Traditions in the Isnad of which a companion (Sahabi) is omitted, e.g. A Tabi’i says, the Prophet said…. e. The Musahhaf Traditions: These are the traditions which have a mistake in words or letters of the Isnad or the Matn e.g. Hasan is written as Hashan. f. The Shadh Traditions: These are the traditions with a reliable chain of reporters but their meanings are contrary to other similarly attested Traditions narrated by the majority of the contemporary transmitters. g. The Maudu Traditions: These are the fabricated and untrue Traditions.” (Ibid:57).

I have now presented a very short introduction to the background of ahadith. I would most strongly recommend the interested reader to read the book “Shariah: The Islamic Law” by Abdur Rahman I. Doi. It is a book which I have used extensively and found most interesting and informative. The same author has also published a book which is titled “Non-Muslims under Shariah”, another informative book which I would recommend. Lastly I would like to thank the people concerned in providing me with the facility for distributing this collection. Without their help, time, and effort, I am quite certain that this work would not have come to the notice of so many people in so many places. May Allah give them peace and bless them all. Amen.
——————————————————————————–

FAITH (IMAN)

1. Islam is based on five things: the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is His servant and messenger, the observance of the prayer, the payment of Zakat, the pilgrimage, and the fast during Ramadan.(Bukhari, Muslim).

2. The Muslim is he from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the Emigrant is he who abandons what God has prohibited. (Bukhari).

3. None of you believes till I am dearer to him than his father, his child and all mankind. (Bukhari, Muslim).

4. He who is not trustworthy has no Faith, and he who does not keep his Covenant has no religion. (Baihaqi).

5. What is Faith? When your good deed pleases you and your evil deed grieves you, you are a believer. What is Sin? When a thing disturbs (the peace of) your heart, give it up. (Ahmad).
——————————————————————————–

MAJOR SINS AND SIGNS OF HYPOCRISY

6. The major sins are associating other objects of worship with God, disobedience to parents, murder, and deliberate perjury. (Bukhari, Muslim).

7. There are three signs of a hypocrite: when he speaks he speaks lies, when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he is trusted he betrays his trust. (Bukhari).

8. Avoid the seven noxious things.(1) Associating anything with God, (2) magic,(3) killing one whom God has declared inviolate without a just cause, (4) devouring usury, (5) consuming the property of an orphan, running back from the battlefield and, (7) slandering chaste women who are believers but indiscreet. (Bukhari, Muslim).

9. Four characteristics constitute anyone who possesses them a sheer hypocrite, and anyone who possesses one of them possesses a characteristic of hypocrisy till he abandons it: when he is trusted he betrays his trust, when he talks he lies, when he makes a covenant he acts treacherously and when he quarrels he abuses. (Bukhari, Muslim).
——————————————————————————–

KNOWLEDGE

10. When a man dies no further reward is recorded for his actions, with three exceptions: Sadqa which continues to be supplied, or knowledge from which benefit continues to be reaped, or the prayers of a good son to his dead father. (Muslim).

11. If anyone removes (one of the) anxieties of this world from a believer, God will remove (one of the) anxieties from him on the Day of Resurrection; if one smoothes the way for one who is destitute, God will smooth the way for him in this world and the next; and if anyone conceals the faults of a Muslim, God will conceal his faults in this world and the next. God helps a man as long as he helps his brother. If anyone pursues a path in search of knowledge God will thereby make easy for him a path to paradise. (Muslim).

12. He who goes out in search of knowledge is in God’s path till he returns. (Tirmidhi, Darimi)

13. The search of knowledge is an obligation laid on every Muslim. (Ibn Majah, Baihaqi).

14. The one who would have the worst position in God’s sight on the Day of Resurrection would be a learned man who did not profit from his learning. (Darimi).
——————————————————————————–

SUPPLICATIONS (DUA)

15. A man is granted supplication provided he does not ask for anything sinful or for breaking ties of relationship. (Muslim).

He who does a good deed will have ten times the amount of blessings, and I [God] shall give more, but he who does an evil deed will have an equivalent reward of evil, or I shall grant forgiveness. If anyone draws the length of a span near Me, I shall draw the length of a cubit near him, and if anyone draws the length of a cubit near Me, I shall draw the length of a fathom near him. If anyone comes to Me walking I shall come to him at a run, and if anyone meets me with sins of the size of the earth, but has not associated anything with Me, I shall meet him a similar amount of forgiveness. (Muslim).

22. Hadhrat Jaabir (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Salaat is the key to Jannat.” (Darami).

23. Hadhrat Abdulah Ibn Qart (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The first act about which one will be questioned on the Day of Qiyammah will be Salaat. 27. Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Will there remain any impurity on a person who baths five times a day in a river flowing in front of his house?” The people said: “No impurity will remain on him.” Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “This is the effect of the five Salaat. By means of it, Allah Ta’ala purifies the performer of all sins.” (Bukhari, Muslim).

28. Hadhrat Abdur Rahmaan Bin Amr Bin Al-A’s (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Salaat on the Day of Qiyaamah, will be a light, a proof and a means of salvation for the one who guarded it. He who neglects Salaat, will have no light, no proof and no salvation (from the direction of Salaat) He (the one who neglects Salaat) will be in the company of Qaroon, Fir’oun, Haamaan and Ubay Ibn Khalf on the Day of Qiyaamah.” (Ahmad, Darami, Baihaqi, Shu’bul Imaan).

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Islam is to testify that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, to perform the prayers, to pay the zakat, to fast in Ramadan, and to make the pilgrimage to the House if you are able to do so. 210. That which is lawful is plain and that which is unlawful is plain and between the two if them are doubtful matters about which not many people know. Thus he who avoids doubtful matters clears himself in regard to his religion and his honour, but he who falls into doubtful matters falls into that which is unlawful, like the shepherd who pastures around the sanctuary, all but grazing therein. Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you.” Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned [the case of] a man who, having journeyed far, is dishevelled and dusty and who spreads out his hands to the sky [saying]: O Lord! O Lord! – while his food is unlawful, his drink unlawful, his clothing unlawful, and he is nourished unlawfully, so how can he be answered! (Muslim).

Then He explained it [by saying that] he who has intended a good deed and has not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed, but if he intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as from ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times over. But if he has intended a bad deed and has not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed, but if he has intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed. (Bukhari, Muslim).

230. Do not envy one another; do not inflate prices one to another; do not hate one another; do not turn away from one another; and do not undercut one another, but be you. O servants of Allah, brothers. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim: he neither oppresses him nor does he fail him, he neither lies to him nor does he hold him in contempt. Piety is right here-and the Prophet (peace be upon him) pointed to his breast three times. It is evil enough for a man to hold his brother Muslim in contempt. The whole of a Muslim for another is inviolable: his blood, his property and his honour. (Muslim).

231. Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to the Prophet:(peace be upon him) O Messenger of Allah, the affluent have made off with the rewards: they pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, and they give away in charity the superfluity of their wealth. They said: O Messenger of Allah, when one of us fulfils his sexual desire will he have some reward for that? 232. Allah the Almighty has said: Whosoever shows enmity to a friend of Mine, I shall be at war with him. My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have imposed upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hands with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him; and were he to ask me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. (Bukhari).

There ran four rivers, two were hidden and two were visible. I took the milk. Gabriel remarked, ‘This is the Islamic religion which you and your followers are following.’ Then the prayers were enjoined on me: They were fifty prayers a day. When I returned, I passed by Moses who asked (me), ‘What have you been ordered to do?’ I replied, ‘I have been ordered to offer fifty prayers a day.’ Moses said, ‘Your followers cannot bear fifty prayers a day, and by Allah, I have tested people before you, and I have tried my level best with Bani Israil (in vain). Go back to your Lord and ask for reducing your followers’ burden.’ So I went back, and Allah reduced ten prayers for me. Then again I came to Moses, but he repeated the same as he had said before. Then again I went back to Allah and He reduced ten more prayers. When I came back to Moses he said the same, I went back and Allah and He ordered me to observe ten prayers a day. When I came back to Moses, he repeated the same advice, so I went back to Allah was ordered to observe five prayers a day. When I came back to Moses, he said, ‘What have you been ordered?’ I replied, ‘I have been ordered to observe five prayers a day.’ He said, ‘Your followers cannot bear five prayers a day, and no doubt, I have got an experience of the people before you, and I have tried my level best with Bani Israil, so go back to your Lord and ask for reducing your followers’ burden.’ I said, ‘I have requested so much of my Lord that I feel ashamed, but I am satisfied now and surrender to Allah’s order.’ When I left, I head a voice saying, ‘I have passed My Order and have reduced the burden of My Worshippers.'” (Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol 5).

The other seventy two will serve as means for the acquisition of lofty stages in the Aakhirah.” (Baihaqi).

461. Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whenever a Muslim visits a sick brother (Muslim) or merely goes to meet his brother, then Allah says: ‘You are holy; your walking is holy; you have arranged your abode in Jannat.'” (Tirmidhi).

The better of these two is the one who makes Salaam first.” (Bukhari, Muslim).

463. Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “refrain from suspicion. The worst of lies is suspicion (thinking ill of others on mere supposition). Do not pry into the private affairs of others. Do not bid a higher price (for any object of sale) with the intention to deceive (and not to buy). Do not have jealousy for one another nor entertain malice for each other. Do not scandal (gheebat). Fear Allah! All servants (of Allah) should live like brothers.” (Bukhari, Muslim).

FASTING

465. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Allah Ta’Ala has ordained fasting in Ramadhan compulsory, and I have decreed (by the command of Allah) wakefulness at night (i.e. Taraweeh, etc.) Sunnat. Whoever in the state of Imaan and the belief of thawaab fasts in Ramadhan and stays awake at night (i.e. for taraweeh), emerges from sin, purified as the day when his mother gave birth to him.” (Nisai).

466. Hadhrat Abu bin Umar (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Fasting and the Qu’ran will intercede on behalf of one on the Day of Qiyaamah. Therefore accept my intercession on his behalf.’ The intercession of both will be accepted.” (Ahmad, Tibrani, Hakim).

For every Salaat performed (this refers to Taraweeh Salaat) during the nights of Ramadhan, Allah Ta’ala records one and a half thousand good deeds for every Sajdah (of the Salaat). And, for the fasting person, Allah Ta’ala creates in Jannat a mansion of red Ya’koot (a precious stone in Jannat). This mansion will have seven thousand entrances. (So huge will these entrances be that in each entrance will be located) a palace of gold adorned with red Ya’koot. When the Muslims fast the first day if Ramadhan, Allah Ta’ala forgives all his sins committed from the first of the previous Ramadhan. Daily (i.e. during Ramadhan) from the time of Fajr Salat until sunset, seventy thousand Malaaikah supplicate for his forgiveness. In return for every Sajdah which he (the fasting person) makes, of any Salat, whether during the day or night, he will obtain (such a wonderful) tree (so huge) that a horseman will take five hundred years to pass under its shade.” (Baihaqi).

477. Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever sets out for Hajj, Umrah or Jihad but dies on the journey (before being able to render these obligations), Allah Ta’ala records for him the thawaab of the ghazi (one who returns victorious from the Jihaad field) and the thawaab of one who has performed the Hajj and Umrah.” (Mishkaat).

He fears his Raab and is kind (and renders service) to his relatives. And, in regard to the wealth he follows the commands of Allah and discharges rights. This man is the noblest…” (Tirmidhi).

ABSTAINING FROM SIN

482. Hadhrat Ka’b Bin Malik (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad said: “Two hungry wolves let loose in a flock of sheep do not cause so much damage to the flock as does the love of wealth and vanity to one’s Deen.” (Tirmidhi, Darimi).

483. Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “When a Mum’in sins, a black spot forms on his heart. If he makes isitighfaar and taubah, the black mark is removed and his heart is purified. If he increases his sin, the black mark increases. This is the corrosion of the heart spoken by Allah Ta’ala (in the Qur’an).” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah)

484. Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) cursed the taker and giver of bribery. (Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi).

485. Hadhrat Anas Bin Malik (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Should I not show you your sickness and its remedy? Your sickness is sinning and your remedy is to seek forgiveness (istighfaar).” (Baihaqi).

487. Hadhrat Thaubaan (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “There will soon come a time when all nations (of the kufaar) will unite against you ( Muslims)…” Someone asked: “Will we be less in numbers at that time?” Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: ‘In fact, you will be numerous, but useless…Allah Ta’ala will remove your respect and your fears from the hearts of your enemies (who will then despise you) and Allah will instil weakness in your hearts.” Someone asked: ‘What is the cause of the weakness?’ Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Love of the world and detestation for Maut.” (Abu Dawud, Baihaqi).

488. Hadhrat Anas (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The hearts too become corroded (by means of sin). Its polish is istighfaar.” (Baihaqi).

RECITING AND TEACHING THE QUR’AN MAJEED

491. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “He who recites the Qur’an well and clearly is equal in rank to the Angels who record creation’s deeds. These Angels are gracious, honourable and of lofty rank. He who finds difficulty in reciting the Qur’an will obtain a double reward.” (Bukhari, Muslim).

492. A person whose breast is devoid of the Qur’an (i.e. has not learnt anything of the Qur’an Majeed) is like a desolate house. (Tirmidhi).

493. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “A person who recites one harf (letter) of the Qur’an, obtains one virtue; each virtue multiplies to ten virtues. I am not saying that (ALM) is one harf. But, Alif in it is one harf; the Laam in it is one harf and the Meem in it is one harf.” (Tirmidhi, Darimi).

494. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “On the day of Qiyaamah a crown of such brilliance will be placed on the heads of the parents of one who learnt the Qur’an and practised on its laws, that its glitter will outshine the brilliance of the sun which penetrates your houses. What then do you think will be the position of the one who himself learnt the Qur’an and acted in accordance with it?” (Ahmad, Abu Dawud).

495. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “He who recites the Qur’an, memorizes it,accepts its halal (lawful things) as halal and haram (forbidden things) as haram (i.e. his beliefs in these matters are correct), Allah Ta’ala will enter him to Jannat and accept his intercession on behalf of ten such persons of his family upon whom entry into Janhannum has become incumbent (i.e. Allah Ta’ala will forgive them because of his intercession).” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Darimi).

496. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Continue reciting the Qur’an because on the Day of Qiyaamah it will appear as an intercessor for the reciter.” (Muslim).

497. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “He who listens to even a single aayat (being recited by another) obtains such a virtue which perpetually multiplies (it increases in thawaab continuously). The one who recited the aayat will on the Day of Qiyaamah find the recited aayat in the form of a Noor (which will be of greater value and significance than the virtue which accrued to the one who had listened to the recitation).” (Ahmad).

498. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Bukhari).

499. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “On the Day of Qiyaamah the Qur’an will petition Allah to cloak the one who had recited it with garments of honour and respect. A crown of honour will then be placed on the head of the reciter. The Qur’an will then petition Allah Ta’ala to shower His pleasure on the reciter. Allah will then become pleased with him. The reciter will then be asked to recite the Qur’an, thereby attaining higher ranks of elevation. In reward for each aayat a virtue will accrue to him.” (Tirmidhi, Ibn Khuzaimah).

500. Continue climbing (higher and higher in rank) with your recitation in the same way as you recited with care and concern on earth. Your abode (of residing) is located (at that rank attained) with the last aayat recited. (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Ibn Habbaan).

PARADISE AND HELL

“Whoever does evil, he shall not be recompensed (with aught) but the like of it, and does good, male and female, and is a believer, these shall enter the Garden, in which they shall be given sustenance without measure.” Holy Qur’an (40:40)

“And (as for) those who reject Our signs and turn away from them haughtily – these are the inhabitants of the Fire, they shall dwell there forever.” Holy Qur’an (7:36)

Be mentioned in the previous chapter the world of the hereafter…and we know that Allah, the Almighty, will give life to the dead on Resurrection Day. Souls will return to their bodies and people will be judged according to their deeds. Man’s existence in the Hereafter will be similar to his life in the present world. He will eat, drink, be happy or sad, think of and remember things which he did in his previous life.

Paradise: Paradise is the dwelling place for the obedient believers of Allah in the Hereafter. Indeed, Allah has described for us life in Paradise and says: Surely the Paradise which He created for His obedient servants is as wide as the width of the heavens and the earth. In it there will be trees and fruits, of which their abundance will not be curtailed; springs flowing with delicious liquids! such as nectar and ginger; rivers flowing with pure sweet water, honey and milk; different kinds of foods and meats, which mankind likes and enjoys. There will exist everything which the believers desire, including beautiful sights and views that are a comforting to the hearts. Their dwellings will be beautiful: great palaces and elegant mansions, furnished with exquisits! carpet with various decorations. There, the believers, with their companions, will sit on comfortable chairs. In their meetings, they will exchange conversation with each other, giving thanks and praise to Allah, the Almighty. They will be content with the blessings and peace that Allah has bestowed upon them. Their clothes will made of luxurious green silk, and they will have bracelets of gold and silver. Everything which exists in Paradise, including food, drink and palaces, has no equal or likeness in our present world.

In Paradise, there will be neither summer heat nor winter coldness; neither is there day nor night. The dwellers will not suffer from illness nor be hurt nor sad. There will be no enmity nor problems occuring among the dwellers. Thus, they will live in happiness, love and bliss and be served by servants the like if whom are not found on this earth. Therefore, the dwellers of Paradise will live in blissful peace as a result of their righteous deeds and their sincerity to Allah, the Most High. Life in paradise will be everlasting. Thus man never dies there nor is transferred to another world. Hell is the dwelling place for the disobedient servants of Allah in the Hereafter. Verily, the justice of Allah, the Most Glorious, is that He will treat every man according to his or her deeds. While the dwellers of Paradise have earned their destiny as a result of their righteous deeds, the corrupted and disobedient have their recompense in Hell where they will be imprisoned like a criminal jailed in this world. Some, such as disbelievers and polytheists will remain there forever; others will remain for long periods those who believed in Allah but disobeyed Him or committed crimes, or sins such as giving up praying. Allah, the Most Glorious, describes the life in the Hereafter: Surely the dwellers of Hell will be tormented with unimaginable kinds of punishment which cannot be described. There is no likeness of such torment and suffering in our present world. They will be bound with long chains and cast into a blazing furnace, such fire cannot be found in this world. This Fire will blaze forever, guarded by angels. The food of the inhabitants will be made of zachum tree oil (a cursed tress growing in Hell’s lowest depths); their drink will be boiling water; they will be forced to drink the filthy pus oozing from their bodies – the result of intense punishment. There, such people will wish to die to cease their saying but find none to save them from such punishment. Allah will keep them alive and suffering, and whoever their skins are burned away, they will be replaced by another to be burned afresh. Surely, the dwellers of Hell will cry out from the intense punishment but will find none to help. There is no escape and instead it will be said to them: “Fie! you have no right to say a word”.

Guidelines for the treatment of Black Magic (sihir), Jinns (demons) and all evils
In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful. May complete Peace, Blessings and Mercy of Allah be upon the Last Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) forever forever. Due to numerous questions on the same topic we have decided to summarize the steps of complete treatment of any type of Black Magic (sihir) and Jinns (demons).

Treatment Guidelines and Instructions: The people or the family affected with black magic, jinns or any evil should strictly follow these instructions…

Note: Steps 3, 5 and 6 are compulsory and should be practiced without fail for treatment against blackmagic and jinns, all other steps are optional and highly recommended for best results.

1. General Information about black magic and Jinns and their symptoms [http://islamicexorcism.wordpress.com/2009/11/04/simple-guide-for-islamic-exorcism/]

2. Every night play “Azaan of Medina and Surah Baqrah” [ http://www.mediafire.com/?u827mrqtx55swlu ], take care that the recitations are loud enough to be heard in every room and the same time take care not to disturb the neighbors. This can be played once or twice daily consistently without any gaps for about 11 days, 21 days or 40 days depending of condition and effects of evil influences. It’s not necessary for every one in the house to listen to the recitations, when the recitations are on, they can carry on with their household works, however, take care that when recitations are on do not turn on the TV or music system. These recitations will InshaAllah cleanse and purify the house for all evil effects of blackmagic and jinns or any evil influences.

3. All the people affected with Blackmagic, jinn or any evil should consistently practice and follow the instructions given in the following links, especially the simple body and house protection amals, this should be done daily for about 40 days to about 6 months. If a person consistently practices this he will always be in the protection and care of Allah and in this way, no magic, jinns or any magician will be able to harm him. Women during their unclean period can practice and follow these instructions. [http://islamicexorcism.wordpress.com/2010/09/21/strongest-protections-against-all-evil/] and
[http://islamicexorcism.wordpress.com/2010/10/23/how-to-protect-yourself-from-blackmagic-and-jinns/]

4. To remove and expel the effects of black magic and jinns from the body of the effected person, every night make wadhu and closing the eyes to attain full concentration, patiently listen to the Ruqyah [http://www.mediafire.com/?nezymzowtwo]. This can be done once, twice or more every day consistently for about 11 to 40 days or till the person becomes completely normal. For stronger cases is preferable to do the salt water treatment, explained in the post [http://islamicexorcism.wordpress.com/2010/03/21/easy-self-treatment-of-blackmagic-and-jinn-by-listening-to-ruqyah/]. Women during their unclean period can listen to the Ruqyah after making wadhu.

5.The main amal for breaking blackmagic/sihir and expelling out jinns is either 5a and/or 5b.

5a.Simple Powerful amal for breaking any blackmagic and expelling any Jinn: This is a very powerful and effective amal that involves reciting three verses of Quran and one name of Allah daily in the Night for about 11 to 21 days in a row, to destroy all the evil affects of sihir, jinns, evil eyes and all kinds of evil.

Every night in one glass of recited water add some rock or crystal salt and spray it all over your house, bed room, furniture, walls, ceiling etc except bathroom. Every night mix some rock or crystal salt in recited vinegar and massage the body and all places of pain with this mixture. After every 7 days of amal get one glass of recited water and few spoon full of recited vinegar and mix them all and add some rock or crystal salt to this mixture and juice extracted out of about 3 whole lime/lemon and this mixture should be used during bathing. During bathing, after soaping and shampooing, this recited mixture of (recited water, recited vinegar, salt, lime/lemon) should be massaged atleast 3 times all over the body from head to toe properly, after massaging wash yourself with normal water. The bathing should be done for atlest 3 days after every 7 days of amal.
Note: If things don’t get better in few weeks of this amal, continue doing this amal for about 40 days to 3 months and in addition do any one amal listed in 5b.

5b.The affected person or any pious person on the behalf of the affected person should do any one amal in the following post http://islamicexorcism.wordpress.com/2010/09/13/general-amal-for-treating-all-kinds-of-sihir-and-jinns/ as per the given instructions on the post. The affected victim should use the recited items as per the instructions given in the post. We have noticed many people forget to massage their bodies with recited vinegar or olive oil and also forget to take bath with recited water, its is very very essential that the affected victims use the recited items as per the instruction for drinking, spraying, bathing, massaging..etc. The affected people as per their convenience can practice different amals for the specified time as per the instructions. The woman during their unclean periods can use the recited items.

6. The victims of black magic, jinns or any evil should recite the following as their “personal wazifa” – Ya Shaafi Ya Kaafi Ya Baaqi, La HawLa WaLaa KhuWaTa ElLaaBilLaa Hil ‘Ali Yil Azeem, this should be recited abundantly day and night without any limits, along with day to day activities and sitting, standing, walking, travelling as much as possible every day for about 40 days. This should be recited with intentions of complete and permanent cure as well as for protection from all magic, spells, jinns, all evil and sickness. If the victim consistently recites this wazifa, it will suffice him for every thing and for every need. We request our users to ponder over the meaning of this wazifa and use this wonderful and powerful wazifa as much as possible for all purpose. The woman during their unclean periods can recite this wazifa.

7. Its also highly recommended the all the victims should this small amal, every morning and evening and every Friday after salaatul Jumah(before getting up from your place and before talking to any one), the following should be recited with intentions of complete and permanent cure as well as for protection from all magic, spells, jinns, all evil and sickness. The woman during their unclean periods can recite this provided they recite the verses from their memory and after making wadhu considering them as a dua and source of healing.
•Any darood 7x.
•Surah Al Faatiha 7x
•Ayatul Kursi 7x
•Surah Kaafiroon 7x
•Surah Iqlaas7x
•Surah Falaq 7x
•Surah Naas 7x
•Any Darood 7x.
•’Ameen ’Ameen ’Ameen. Ya Rabbil ‘A-Lameen.
•Take a deep breath each time and blow 3x over your chest and 3x over your hands and wipe them all over your body from head to toe, one can also blow into the reited water and items of other amals and use them for drinking, spraying, bathing and massaging.

8. Diet Guide: Below are few foods recommended during spiritual healing and its advisable to eat them only after getting a proper confirmation from the medical doctor who is treating the victim.
•Pomegranate(For strength and cleansing the body from Jinns): Pomegranate juice is rich in Potassium, folic acid, Vitamins and Antioxidants and its benefits with regards to satan / jinn are mentioned in this following hadith in which Prophet[SA] has mentioned that “Pomegranate cleanses you of Satan and from evil aspirations for 40 days”. Therefore, it’s highly recommended that during the treatment the victim should drink juice extracted out of one whole pomegranate about 30 to 45 mins before breakfast daily for about 7 to 12 days or at his convenience.
•Dates(For strength and protection against Blackmagic): Dates are very rich in proteins and vitamins and from Quran we come to know that food for Hazrath Maryam[AS] during her pregnancy was dates and from hadith we come to that our prophet[SA] recommended Hazrath Ayshiya[RA] dates when she was suffering from giddiness. It is therefore advised that the physically weak patient should have dates to strengthen his immune system and body. Based of the following hadith its recommended that the victim eats 7[least] or more dates [preferably from City of Medina] once every morning and once every evening as a cure and protection against Sihir- ‘Amir b. Sa’d b. Abu Waqqas reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who ate seven ‘Ajwa’[City of Medina] dates in the morning, poison and magic will not harm him on that day[Muslim]. There are other narrations that also mention seven dates[not necessary from Medina], so if dates from Medina are not available, any dates should be fine.
•Olive Oi[For treatment and cleansing the body from sickness]l: In the Quran, Allah himself says “I swear by the fig and the olive” [95:1] this in itself is sufficient to proof the importance of Olive. Furthermore the following hadith shows the benefits of Olive oil- Hazrath Abu Hurairah[RA] narrates that the Prophet[SA] stated, “Eat the olive oil and apply it (locally), since there is cure for seventy diseases in it, one of them is Leprosy.”[Abu Naim]. The victims should therefore take one sip of olive oil daily and a massage some of the recited oil over his body.
•Melon(For strength and blessings): Melon are fat or cholesterol free rich source of vitamins A, B6,C, fibre, potassium, antioxidants and lycopene. Prophet[SA] has recommended melon for [weak] women during pregnancy and the following hadith shows that it not only has physical benefits but also several spiritual benefits- (1) Prophet[SA] said “None of your women who are pregnant and eat of watermelon will fail to produce offspring who are good in countenance and good in character”. (2) Prophet[SA] said “Whenever you eat fruit, eat melon, because it is the fruit of Paradise and contains a 1000 blessings and a 1000 mercies. The eating of it cures every disease.”. Its therefore advisable for the weak patient to eat melon’s with the intention of “Strengthening himself, receiving blessing and mercies from Allah.”
•Blessings of Zam Zam : 1. ‘Aa’ishah(R.A.) reported that she took Zamzam water home with her in bottles, and said, “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took some of it away with him, and he used to pour it on the sick and give it to them to drink.” (Tirmidhi)
2. The Messenger of Allah, salallahu alayhe wa sallam has said:” The most sublime of all earthly waters is that of zamzam; therein one finds food for the hungry and medicne for the ill.” [Tabarani ]
3. The Messenger of Allah, salallahu alayhe wa sallam has said:”Zamzam water is what one intends to drink it for. When one drinks it to be healed, Allah heals him; when one drinks it to be full, Allah makes him full; and when one drinks it to quench his thrist, Allah quenches it. ” [ Ahmad, and Ibn Majah]

9. Easy way of Diagnosis of sihir (blackmagic) , jinns and evil eye: This amal should be done by the victim himself every night for about 3 nights in row without any gaps till the signs and symptoms explained below are visible. We recommend this amal to be done just before sleeping and after the amal avoid talking and keep reciting -Ya Fattaahu, this you fall asleep, inshaallah, by this you will get guidance on your condition through some dreams.
•Make wadhu and sit on the prayer-mat facing Qibla
•Auzubillaah hi Mi-nash ShYataan Ir-rajeem BisMillaah Ir-Rah-maan Ir-Ra-heem -3x
•La Elaaha illal laahu Mohammadur Rasool-ul-laah Sallallaahu `Alayhi wa Sallam Astagfirullaaha Wa atubuelay–100x
•3rd and 4th Kalimah 10x each
•Offer 2 units of Salaatul Hajaat with intentions of seeking help and guidance from Allah SWT to diagnosis the sickness
•Take a tasbih or counter in the hand and start reciting Allah’s name “Ya Fattaahu” with full humility like one in begging and calling Allah for help. One needs to completely understand the meaning of “Ya Fattaahu” before doing this amal.
•While reciting “Ya Fattaahu” between the counts of 100 and 500, note the reactions..
•“Extreme drowsiness or sleep”: This indicates the influence of sihir or black magic.
•“Excessive Yawning (opening the mouth involuntarily)”: This indicates the influence of Evil Eye.
•“Sweating or Tightness or suffocation”: This indicates the influence of evil Jinns in the body.

10.Neutralize and Destroy any magical amulets, taweez or strings/thread or any magical items
Magical amulets usually have jinns tied to them, if they are found and destroyed the effects of the Sihir will fade away InshaAllah. If the victim finds or has any magical amulets in his body or houses, he should destroy it by following the steps below:
•Get some water or kitchen vinegar.
•Recite – these verses -51x [http://islamicexorcism.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/powerful-verses-of-quran-against-jinn-and-sihir.png]
• (OR) recite – Ya Mumeetu -501x
•Reciting Ya Salaamu[O Giver of Peace] continuously, pour some recited water/vinegar over the place from where the amulet was retrieved.
•Reciting Ya Salaamu[O Giver of Peace] continuously, dismantle the amulet completely i.e cut it or break it, to separate the casing from the writing or script or incantations written on paper or cloth or leather of the amulet.
•Submerge, all the pieces of the amulet completely into the recited water/vinegar and place some heavy stone over it so that it gets submerged properly.
•Leave it for over 24 hours submerged, preferably outside the premises of the victim’s house.
•Dump the casing into garbage and check if writing/scipt is visible, dry it slightly and then burn it before dumping it into river, or sea or burying it somewhere in the ground outside the house[burning is to prevent disrespect of any quranic verses if present on the amulet].
InshaAllah, this will neutralize and release the tied Jinn’s from the amulet and the magic will be broken.

11. Easy Way of Finding out the Hidden Sihir Items / magical items:
Before going to bed in the night make wadhu with full concentration and offer 2 + 2 units of nafl Salaat (total of 4 units of salaat) with intentions of seeking Allah’s help and guidance in finding out sihir items. While offering this salaat it’s preferable to recite Surah Kawsar 3 times in every rakaat/unit. After offering this Salaat sitting on the prayer mat recite the following
• ‘Aoozubillaahi Mi-nash ShYataan Ir-rajeem BisMillaah Ir-Rah-maan Ir-Ra-heem -3x
• ‘Astaghfirullaaha Rabbi, La Elaaha illal laahu Mohammadur Rasool-ul-laah Sallallaahu `Alayhi wa Sallam -10x
• Subhaanal-laahi Walhamdu-Lillaahi, wa laa ilaa-ha ill-lal-laahu wallahu Akbar -10x
• Any Darood -easy one – ALLAH humma Sali’ala Muhammad Sallallaahu `Alayhi wa Sallam -11x
• Surah Fatiha 7x[every time when you come to the verse ‘Ihdinas sirataal mustaqeem’ recite it 7x and then complete surah fatiha and say Ameen in the end], Surah Iqlaas 3x
• Ya ‘Aleemo Al-lim-ni, Ya Khabeero Akh-bir-ni -101x [Meaning: O the One who is all Knowledgeable, give me knowledge, O the One who is all Aware, Inform me] http://islamicexorcism.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/short-dua-for-istakaarahguidance.jpg
• Raise your hands and recite the following dua: “O Allah, It’s you alone do we worship and you alone do we call for help, O Allah, You alone are all Knowledgeable and all aware and You alone possess the knowledge of unseen, therefore, through Your power, might and knowledge, show me the hide outs of all sihir items used against me and O Allah, please guide me and help me to destroy them so that truth prevails over falsehood.”-7x
• Any Darood -easy one – ALLAH humma Sali’ala Muhammad Sallallaahu `Alayhi wa Sallam -11x
• Blow over yourself 3x and into some rose water or non-alcoholic perfume. After this amal don’t talk to any one but directly go to sleep following the sunnah of sleeping and keep reciting darood till you fall asleep, you should also apply traces of the recited attar over your clothes before sleeping.
Note: This amal may have to be recited every night till one gets guidance from Allah, inshaallah, in a few days one will get to know the hideout of the sihir items. Just my changing the intention and dua, inshallah, this amal could also be used to find any hidden secrets.

12. Very Powerful Amal for Breaking any Magic and expelling any Jinn Using Musk and Sandalwood:
This amal is extremly powerful bi iznillaah and can be used when victim has tried out many different healers/amals with no benefits or when sihir is very old and very strong.

Special instructions:
1. Victims who are too weak and cannot do the amal themselves should ask any pious relative or friend to do the amals on their behalf and then use the recited items. Apart from this the weak victims should try to follow and practice the instructions given on this post according to their strength and capacity.

2. For emergency cases where the victims is very sick, one or more pious people can get togethere and recited surh Yaseen – 62x as per the institutions mention in “Amal For Cases of Emergency against Jinn and Sihir” explained at the end of the post [http://islamicexorcism.wordpress.com/2009/11/04/simple-guide-for-islamic-exorcism/]

3. Its observed that for strong cases of magic and jinns, during the initial stages of treatment the conditions of the victims will get worst and will show several negative reactions, however, with continued treatment, the conditions will change in few days to weeks.

4. How do we know that we are cured ? When the strange symptoms, pain and sickness..etc begins to disappear, when the victim is having peaceful sleep and can recite quran and offer salaat without difficulty, and all his difficulties are being removed and he feels peace, happiness and is at comfort, it means that alhamdurillah, the affected of blackmagic and jinns have been destroyed.

5. If a person has been doing several amal’s and dua’s and yet the amals don’t seem to have any effect on the blackmagic or jinns, then firstly, the person doing the amals or the victims should check if there are any barriers that are blocking their dua’s/ amals such as usage of unlawful items, involvement in un-islamic practices and bidah, having paintings/pictures/statues of people/animal, disrespect to parents, elders and scholars..etc, if there is slight indication of such things one will have to sincerely repent before Allah and preferably offer Salatul Tasbih and beg for forgiveness. Its also observed that the victim at times don’t follow instructions correctly, it is very essential to use the recited items for drinking, massaging, bathing and spraying, all these things are very essential and necessary for the treatment. Also the person doing the amals should recite ‘Astaghfirullaaha Rabbi, La Elaaha illal laahu Mohammadur Rasool-ul-laah Sallallaahu `Alayhi wa Sallam, about 500x before the amal as this wazifa will inshaallah, provide all the spiritual power and strength one needs to make his dua/amal acceptable in the sight of Allah, alternatively, the person doing the amal may also offer salaatul Hajaat before the amal or spend few nights offering salaatul Tahajjud or fast for a couple of days, these practices will add power to the amal’s inshaallah. And lastly, even after this if things are not improving, one needs to find a pious person/relative/neighbor to do the amal on the behalf of the victim, the person could be any pious person who is following the sunnah and having correct beliefs or who has returned from Hajj or Umrah or 40 days Jamath or who is in Bayath to a sheikh and is strictly adhering to his spiritual exercises or who spends some time in tahajjud.

6. Apart from doing other amals, this amal can also be done and will InshaAllah be very beneficial in completely removing the evil influences of sihir and jinns or any sickness …

•Ask the victim to make wadhu and stand straight in some clean place. Another person reciting “Ya Shaafi” continuously should sweep the clothed lime vertically from head to toe of the victim 3x times, while sweeping also imagine all the pain and sickness is being absorbed into the recited lime. The sweeping of the recited lime should be done 3x on the front side from head to toe and 3x on the back side from head to toe. The sweeping can also be done for a bed ridden person, if the person fails to standup, the lime should be swept from head to toe while the victim is resting on the bed.
•This lime should be thrown in some far of place like rivers, sea, or can be buried into ground or can be disposed in places where people do not walk.
•Every time while doing the amal a fresh lime should be used, the already used lime should be disposed after sweeping it over the body.
•Give the victim the glass of recited water for drinking.
•This amal should be done for about 3x to 7 x days continuously and if necessary can be repeated after a couple of days or weeks.

Virtues and Benefits of Zikar / Dhikr ( Remembrance of Allah )

Extracted from: The Chapter on Zikar / Dhikr

from at-Targhib wa at-Tarhib

by Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani

1. Encouragement to remember Allah often, secretly and openly, and to presevere in it; what is reported about someone who does not remember Allah often

1. Abu Huryara reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Allah Almighty says, ‘I am in My slave’s opinion of Me and I am with Him when He remembers Me. When he remembers Me in himself, I mention him in Myself. If he mentions Me in an assembly, I mention him in a better assembly than them.’ If he comes near Me by a handspan, I come near him a cubit. If he comes near Me by a cubit, I come near a fathom. When he comes to walking, I come to him running.”

(Muslim and al-Bukhari, Ahmad has at the end of it, Qatada said, “Allah is quicker to forgive.”)

2. ‘Abdullah ibn Busr reported a man said, “Messenger of Allah, the laws of Islam are too much for me. Tell me something I can cling to.” He said, “Your tongue should remain moist with the remembrance of Allah.” (at-Tirmidhi)

3. Abu’d-Darda’ reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Shall I inform you of the best of your actions and the purest of your property and the highest of your degrees and what is better for you than spending gold and silver and better for you than encountering the enemy and striking their necks and their striking your necks?” They said, “Yes, indeed!” He said, “Remembrance of Allah Almighty.” MuÔadh ibn Jabal said, “There is nothing which saves from the punishment of Allah more than remembrance of Allah.” (Ahmad, Ibn Abi’d-Dunya, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)

4. Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Do a lot of remembrance of Allah until they say, ‘He is mad.'” (Ahmad, Abu Ya’la and Ibn Hibban)

5. Abu Musa reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “If one man has some dirhams in his possession which he divides and another remembers Allah, the one who remembers Allah is better.” One variant has, “There is no sadaqa better than remembrance of Allah.” (at-Tabarani)

6. Umm Anas reported that she said, “Messenger of Allah, command me.” He said, “Avoid acts of disobedience: that is the best jihad. Do a lot of invoking Allah. You do not bring Allah anything he loves more than a lot of remembrance.” (at-Tabarani. In one variant, “Remember Allah a lot. It is the action which Allah loves most to reveive.” At-Tabarani notes that Umm Anas is not the mother of Anas ibn Malik.)

2. Encouraging attending gatherings of dhikr and meeting together to remember Allah

7. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Allah Almighty has angels who travel the highways and by-ways seeking out the people of dhikr. When they find people remembering Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, they call out to one another, ‘Come to what you hunger for!’ and they enfold them with their wings stretching up to the lowest heaven. Their Lord – who knows them better – asks them, ‘What are My slaves saying?’ They say, ‘They are glorifying You, proclaiming Your greatness, praising You and magnifying You.’ He says, ‘Have they seen Me?’ They say, ‘No, by Allah, they have not seen You.’ He says, ‘How would it be if they were to see Me?’ [extra 'He said's deleted] They say, ‘If they were to see You, they would worship You even more intensely and magnify You even more intensely and glorify You even more intensely.’ He says, ‘What are they asking Me for?’They say, ‘They are asking You for the Garden.’ He says, ‘Have they seen it?’ They say, ‘No, by Allah, they have not seen it.'” He says, ‘How would it be if they were to see it?’ They say, ‘If they were to see it, they would yearn for it even more strongly and seek it even more assiduously and would have an even greater desire for it.’ He says, ‘What are they seeking refuge from?’ ‘They are seeking refuge from the Fire.’ He says, ‘Have they seen it?’ He says, ‘How would it be if they were to see it?’ They say, ‘If they were to see it, they would flee from it even harder and have an even greater fear of it.’ He says, ‘I testify to you that I have forgiven them.’ One of angels says, ‘Among them is so-and-so who is not one of them. He came to get something he needed.’ He says, ‘They are sitting and the one sitting with them will not be wretched.'” (al-Bukhari)

8. ÔAbdullah ibn ‘Umar reported: “I asked, ‘Messenger of Allah, what is the booty of the assemblies of dhikr?’ He replied, ‘The booty of the asemblies of dhikr is the Garden.'” (Ahmad)

9. Anas ibn Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “When you come upon the meadows of the Garden, graze in them.” He was asked, “What are the meadows of the Garden?” “Circles of dhikr.” he replied. (at-Tirmidhi)

10. ‘Amr ibn ÔAbasa said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah say about the right hand of the All-Merciful, ‘Both His hands are right hands. There are men who are not Prophets or martyrs the whiteness of whose faces overpowers the sight of those who look. The Prophets and martyrs envy their seat and proximity to Allah Almighty.’ He was asked, ‘Messenger of Allah, who are they?’ He replied, ‘A mixture of isolated people from the tribes who meet to remember Allah and select the best words as someone who eats dates selects the best ones.'” (at-Tabarani)

3. Warning against sitting where Allah is not mentioned nor the prayer said on His Prophet

11. Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet said, “Whenever people sit in a place where they do not mention Allah or bless their Prophet, loss descends on them. If He wishes, He will punish them. If He wishes, He will forgive them.” (Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi)

4. Encouraging words which expiate the hubbub of the assembly

12. Rafi’ ibn Khadij reported that when his Companions met with him, at the end of it when the Messenger of Allah wanted to get up, he said, “Glory be to You, O Allah, and by Your praise. I testify that there is no god but Allah. I ask forgiveness of You and repent to You. I have acted badly and have wronged myself, so forgive me. Only You forgive wrong actions.” They said, “Messenger of Allah, are these words which you originated?” “Yes,” he replied, “Jibra’il came to me and said, “O Muhammad, they are the expiations of the gathering.” (an-Nasa’i)

13. ÔAbdullah ibn ÔAmr ibn al-ÔAs said that he said, “There are certain words which someone can say in a gathering devoted to good or a gathering of dhikr by which Allah will seal the gathering as the page is sealed with a seal. They are: ‘Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise. There is no god but You. I ask You for forgiveness and turn to You.'” (Abu Dawud and Ibn Hibban

5. Encouraging saying “la ilaha illa’llah” and its excellence

14. Abu Hurayra said, “I asked, ‘Messenger of Allah, who will be the person happiest with your intercession on the Day of Rising?’ The Messenger of Allah replied, ‘I think that none would ask about this before you since I know your eagerness for hadith [learning]. The person happiest with my intercession on the Day of Rising will be the one who says: “There is no god but Allah” sincerely from his heart.'” (al-Bukhari)

15. Jabir reported that the Prophet said, “The best dhikr is ‘La ilaha illa’llah,’ and the best supplication is ‘al-hamdu lillah‘.” (an-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah)

16. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Do a lot of the shahada, testifying that there is no god but Allah before there comes a barrier between you and it.” (Abu Ya’la)

17. He reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Renew your faith.” He was asked, “Messenger of Allah, how do we renew our faith?” He replied, “Say often: ‘There is no god but Allah.'” (Ahmad and at-Tabarani)

18. ÔAmr said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah say, “I know some words which, if a person says it truly from his heart and dies on that, he will be unlawful to the Fire: ‘There is no god but Allah’.” (al-Hakim)

Encouraging saying “There is no god but Allah alone with no partner”

19. Abu Ayyub reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Anyone who says, ‘There is no god but Allah alone with no partner. His is the kingdom and His is the praise. He has power over everything’ ten times, it is as if he had set free four slaves of the descendants of Isma’il.” (Agreed upon)

20. Ya’qub ibn ÔAsim reported that two of the Companions of the Prophet heard the Prophet say, “No one at all says “There is no god but Allah alone with no partner. The kingdom and praise belong to Him and He has power over everything” sincerely with his soul, affirming it with his heart, articulating it with his tongue but that Allah splits open the heaven so that He can look at the one on the earth who says it, and it is a right of the slave at whom Allah looks that He grant him his request.” (an-Nasa’i)

6. Encouraging glorification, takbir, the shahada, and praise in its various forms

21. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Two words are light on the tongue, heavy in the balance, beloved to the Merciful: ‘Glory be to Allah and by His praise. Glory be to Allah, the Immense.'” (Agreed upon)

22. Abu Umama reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Whoever dreads to endure the night, or is miserly about spending money, or is too cowardly to fight the enemy should say often: ‘Glory be to Allah and with His praise.’ It is more beloved to Allah than a mountain of gold spent in the Way of Allah.” (at-Tabarani)

23. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Anyone who says, ‘Glory be to Allah and with His praise’ a hundred times a day will have his sins fall away, even if they are like the froth of the sea.” (Muslim and at-Tirmidhi)

24. Mus’ab ibn SaÔd (ibn Abi Waqqas) said that his father said, “We were with the Messenger of Allah when he asked, ‘Are any of you able to earn a thousand good deeds every day?’ One of those who was sitting there asked him, ‘How can someone earn a thousand good deeds?’ He said, ‘Glorifying a hundred times is written as a thousand good deeds or a thousand errors fall away from him.'” (Muslim and an-Nasa’i)

25. Samura ibn Jundub reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “The dearest of words to Allah are four: ‘Glory be to Allah; Praise be to Allah; There is no god but Allah; and Allah is greater.’ It does not matter whichever of them you say first.”(Muslim and an-Nasa’i, He added, “They are part of the Qur’an.”.)

26. Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet passed by him when he was planting a seedling and he asked, “Abu Hurayra, what is that which you are planting?” He said, “Seedlings.” He said, “Shall I not direct you to a seedling better than this? ‘Glory be to Allah. Praise be to Allah. Allah is greater, and there is no god but Allah.’ Each word of them will plant a tree for you in the Garden.” (Ibn Majah)

27. Umm Hani’ said, “The Messenger of Allah passed by me one day and I said, ‘Messenger of Allah, I am old and weak, so command me something I can do sitting.’ He said, ‘Say “Glory be to Allah” a hundred times: it is equal to a hundred slaves of the descendants of IsmaÔil you set free. Say “Praise be to Allah” a hundred times: it is equal to a hundred horses saddled and bridled and ridden in the Way of Allah. Say “Allah is greater” a hundred times: it is equal to a hundred camels garlanded and facing qibla. Say “There is no god but Allah” a hundred times. (I think he said) It fills up what is between heaven and earth. On that day no one will have a better action presented that which will be presented for you unless he brings the like of what you bring.'” (Ahmad, at-Tabarani and al-Bayhaqi)

28. Abu Dharr reported that some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah *said, “Messenger of Allah, the wealthy have appropriated the rewards. They pray as we pray and they fast as we fast, but they give sadaqa since they have more wealth.”He said, “Did not Allah give you that which you can give as sadaqa? Every glorification is sadaqa. Every takbir is sadaqa. Every praise is sadaqa. Every ‘la ilaha illa’llah‘ is sadaqa. Commanding the right is sadaqa. Forbidding the wrong is sadaqa.” (Muslim and Ibn Majah)

29. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Take your protection.”They asked, “Messenger of Allah, from an enemy present?” He replied, “No, but your protection against the Fire. Say: ‘Glory be to Allah. There is no god but Allah, and Allah is greater.’ They will come on the Day of Rising in front and behind you. They are lasting righteous ones.” (an-Nasa’i and al-Bayhaqi. At-Tabarani has it in al-Awsat and adds, “There is no strength or power except by Allah.”)

30. ÔAbdullah ibn MasÔud said, “Anyone who is tight-fisted about giving money, fears the struggle against the enemy and is wearied by the night should often say, “There is no god but Allah. Allah is greater. Praise be to Allah and glory be to Allah.'” (At-Tabarani)

31. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Any words which do not with praise are mutilated.” (Abu Dawud, an-Nasa’i, and Ibn Majah)

7. Encouraging saying, “Glory be to Allah,” “Praise be to Allah”, “There is no god but Allah” and “Allah is greater” in mosques

32. Umm al-Mu’minin Juwayriyya bint al-Harith reported that the Prophet left her and then he returned after the sun was well risen and she was still sitting there. He said, “You are still in the state you were when I left you?” She said, “Yes.” The Prophet said, “I said four words three times after I left you. If they were to be weighed against everything you have recited today they would outweigh it: ‘Glory be to Allah and by His praise in number as great as His creation and His own pleasure, the weight of His Throne and the ink of His words.'”(Muslim and the Four)

33. ‘A’isha bint SaÔd ibn Abi Waqqas related from her father that, together with the Messenger of Allah, he visited a woman and in front of her were some date-stones – or pebbles – which she was using to glorify Allah. He said, ‘Shall I inform you what is easier for you than this – or better?’ He said, ‘Glory be to Allah by the number of things He has created in the heaven and glory be to Allah by the number of things He has created in the earth and glory be to Allah by the number of things in between them and glory be to Allah by the number of things He has created. Then say, “Allah is greater” in the same way and “Praise be to Allah” in the same way, and “There is no god but Allah” in the same way and “There is no power nor strength except by Allah” in the same way.'” (Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi)

8. Encouraging saying “There is no power nor strength except by Allah”

35. Mu’adh ibn ÔAbdullah ibn Khubayb reported that his father said, “We went out on a very dark and rainy night looking for the Messenger of Allah to lead us in the prayer. We found him and he said, ‘Speak.’ I did not say anything,.’ Then he said, ‘Say,’ and I did not say anything. Then he said, ‘Say,’ and I said, ‘Messenger of Allah, what shall I say?’ He said, ‘Recite, “Say: He is God, One,” and the suras of seeking refuge in the evening and the morning three times, it will be enough to protect you in respect of everything.'” (Abu Dawud, at-Tirmidhi, and an-Nasa’i)

36. Shaddad ibn Aws reported that the Prophet said, “The best way to ask forgiveness is to say, ‘O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me and I am Your slave. I comply with Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with you from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me. Only You can forgive sins.’ Anyone who says it during the night having confidence in it and dies before morning will enter the Garden. Anyone who says this during the day having confidence in it and dies on that day before evening will enter the Garden. “

(Al-Bukhari, an-Nasa’i and at-Tirmidhi who has: “No one says it in the evening and then the decree comes to him before morning but that the Garden is mandatory for him. He does not say it in the morning and then the decree comes to him before evening but that the Garden is mandatory for him.”)

37. Abu Hurayra said, “A man came to the Prophet and said, ‘Messenger of Allah, what agony I suffered last night from a scorpion which stung me yesterday!’ He said, ‘If you had said in the evening, “I seek refuge with the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created,” it would not have harmed you.”(Muslim and the four;)

38. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “On the Day of Rising no one will bring anything better than someone who says in the morning and evening, ‘Glory be to Allah and by His praise’ a hundred times except someone who says the same as he says or more.”

(Muslim, the people of the three Sunans, and Ibn Abi’d-Dunya. In Abu Dawud, “Glory be to Allah the Immense.” Al-Hakim said “Anyone who says in the morning ‘Glory be to Allah and by His praise,’ a hundred times, and a hundred times in the evening, his sins will be forgiven even if they more than the forth of the sea.”)

39. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said,”Anyone who says, ‘There is no god but Allah alone with no partner. His is the kingdom and His is the praise, and He has power over everything’ a hundred times a day has the same reward as if he had freed ten slaves, and a hundred good deeds are written for him and a hundred bad deeds are effaced from him and he has protection from Shaytan on that day until evening. No one will do anything better than he does except a man who does it more than he did.” (Agreed upon)

40. Aban ibn ‘Uthman said that he heard ‘Uthman ibn ‘Affan say that the Messenger of Allah said, “No slave of Allah says in the morning every day and the evening every night, ‘In the name of Allah by whose name nothing in the earth or the heaven can be harmed. He is the Hearing, the Knowing,’ three times without that ensuring that nothing will harm him.” Aban suffered from a stroke which left him semi-paralysed on one side. He was asked about it and said, “I did not say it that day so that Allah could carry out His decree.” (The four)

41. Abu’d-Darda’ said, “If anyone says in the morning and evening, ‘Allah is enough for me. There is no god but Him. I have relied on Him and He is the Lord of the Immense Throne’ seven times, Allah will spare him what worries him (whether he is truthful or lying).” (Abu Dawud)

42. Anas ibn Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “If anyone says in the morning or the evening, ‘O Allah, I testify to You and I testify to the bearers of Your throne, Your angels and all Your creation that You are Allah and there is no god but You and Muhammad is Your slave and Messenger,’ Allah will free a quarter of him from the fire. If anyone says it twice, Allah will free half of him from the Fire. If anyone says it three times, Allah will free three-quarters of him from the Fire. If anyone says it four times, Allah will free all of him from the Fire.'”

43. Al-Mundhir, the Companion of the Messenger of Allah, said when he was in North Africa, “I heard the Messenger of Allah say, ‘If anyone says in the morning “I am pleased with with Allah as a Lord, Islam with a deen and Muhammad as a Prophet” I am the leader who will take his hand to admit him to the Garden.”‘” (at-Tabarani)

44. ‘Abdullah ibn Ghannam al-Bayadi reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “If anyone says in the morning, ‘O Allah, whatever blessing comes to me or any of Your creation in the morning is from You alone with no partner; praise is Yours and thanks is to You’ has fulfilled the thankfulness due for the day. If he says the like of that in the evening, he has fulfilled the thankfulness due for the night. ” (Abu Dawud and an-Nasa’i)

45. Ibn ‘Umar said, “The Messenger of Allah did not omit these words in the evening and morning: ‘O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my deen and this world, my family and my property. O Allah, veil my defects and protect me from what I fear. O Allah, preserve me in front of me and behind me, to my right and to my left, and above me. I seek refuge with Your might from unexpected harm from under me.” (Abu Dawud, an-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah)

46. Anas ibn Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah said to Fatima, “What will prevent you from listening to my advice to you? You should say in the morning and evening: ‘O Living, O Self-Sustaining, I seek help by Your mercy. Put all my affairs in order for me. Do not entrust me to myself for the blink of an eye.'” (an-Nasa’i)

47. Al-Hasan stated that Samura ibn Jundub said, “Shall I inform you of a hadith which I heard from the Messenger of Allah several times, and from Abu Bakr several times and from ÔUmar several times?” “Yes,” was the reply. He said, “If anyone says in the morning and the evening, ‘O Allah, You created me and You guide me; You give me food and drink; You make me die and give me life,’ he will not ask for anything but that He will give it to him.” He said, “I met ÔAbdullah ibn Salam and said, ‘Shall I inform you of a hadith which I heard from the Messenger of Allah several times, and from Abu Bakr several times and from ÔUmar several times?’ He said, ‘Yes,’ and recounted this hadith. He said, ‘By my mother and father, the Messenger of Allah said those words. Allah Almighty gave them to Musa, peace be upon him and he used to pray with them seven times every day, and he never asked Allah for something but that Allah gave it to him.” (At-Tabarani)

48. Abu’d-Darda’ reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Anyone who says the prayer on me ten times in the morning and ten times in the evening will obtain my intercession on the Day of Rising,”

(At-Tabarani with two isnads, one of which is excellent)

49. Zayd ibn Thabit reported that the Messenger of Allah taught him a supplication and commanded him to promise to do it and that his family should do it every day. He said: “He should say in the morning, ‘O Allah, at Your service. Good is in Your hand and from You to You. O Allah, whatever word I say, oath I make or vow I make, You will is before it, What You wish will be and what you do not wish will not be. There is no power or strength except by You. You have power over everything. O Allah, whatever prayer I pray is for the on whom I pray and whatever curse I make is against the one I curse. You are my Protector in this world and the Next. Make me die a Muslim and join me to the righteous. O Allah, I ask you for pleasure with the Decree, pleasant life after death, the pleasure of looking at Your face, and yearning to meet You without harmful distress or misleading sedition. I seek refuge with You, O Allah, lest I wrong or be wronged, or transgress or be transgressed against, or acquire a wrong action or a sin which is not forgiven, O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, O Master of Majesty and Generosity, I entrust to You in this life and I call on You to testify. Allah is enough of a witness. I testify that there is no god but You alone with no partner. Yours is the kingdom and praise is Yours. You have power over everything. I testify that Muhammad is Your slave and Messenger. I testify that Your promise is true, meeting Your is true, the Garden is true, the Fire is true and the Hour is true. It is coming without doubt. You will raise whoever is in the graves. If You entrust me to myself, You entrust me to weakness, disgrace, sin and error. I can only trust in Your mercy, so forgive me all my sins. None but You forgive sins. Turn to me. You are the Ever-Turning, All-Merciful.'” (Ahmad and at-Tabarani)

10. Encouraging words which are said when one goes to bed and what has come about someone who rises from sleep without mentioning Allah

50. Al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib said, “The Prophet said, ‘When you go to your bed, do wudu’ as you do for the prayer and then lie down on your right side and said, ‘O Allah, I have surrendered my soul to You, I have turned my face towards You, I have entrusted my affair to You and I have sought refuge in You out of desire for You and fear of You. There is no shelter nor place of safety from You except with You. I have believed in Your Book which You sent down and Your Prophet whom You sent.’ Then if you die in the night, you will die in the natural harmonious form of man. Make them the last thing that you say.” He said, “I repeated them to the Prophet and when I reached the words, ‘Your Book which You sent down,’ I said, ‘and your Message.’ He said, ‘No: “Your Prophet whom You sent.'” (Agreed upon. In al-Bukhari and at-Tirmidhi, “If you die in the night, you die on the natural form. If you reach the morning, you obtain good.”)

51. ÔAbdullah ibn ÔAmr ib al-‘As reported that the Prophet said, “There are two qualities in which a Muslim does not persevere in but that he will enter the Garden. They are easy but those who do them are few: After every prayer, he should glorify Allah ten times, praise Him ten times, and say the takbir ten times. That is 150 on the tongue and 150,000 in the balance. When he goes to bed, he should say the takbir 34 times, praise Allah 33 times and glorify Him 33 times. That is 100 on the tongue and a thousand in the balance.’ I saw the Messenger of Allah count them. They asked, ‘Messenger of Allah, how is it that they are easy and those who do them few?’ He said, ‘Shaytan comes to one of you when he goes to sleep and makes him fall asleep before he says them, and he comes when he is praying and reminds him of a need before he says them.” (Abu Dawud, and at-Tirmidhi)

52. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “If, when someone retires to his bed and says. ‘There is no god but Allah alone with no partner. His is the Kingdom and praise is His. He has power over everything and there is no power nor strength except by Allah. Glory be to Allah and praise be to Allah. There is no god but Allah, and Allah is greater,’ he will be forgiven his sins or errors, even if they are like the froth of the sea.” (an-Nasa’i)

11. Encouraging words said when someone wakes up in the night

53. ‘Ubada ibn as-Samit reported that the Prophet said, “If someone wakes up at night and says, ‘There is no god but Allah alone with no partner. The kingdom is His and His is the praise. He has power over everything. Praise belongs to Allah. Glory be to Allah. There is no god but Allah. Allah is greater. There is no strength nor power except by Allah,’ and then says, ‘O Allah, forgive me’ or makes supplication to Allah,’ it will be answered. If he does wudu’, then his prayer will be accepted.” (al-Bukhari and the Four)

12. Encouraging dhikrs said after Subh, ‘Asr and Maghrib

54. Abu Dharr reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “If, after the Fajr prayer, anyone says while his feet are still folded before speaking, ‘There is no god ut Allah alone with no partner. His is the kingdom and praise is His. He gives life and makes die, and He has power over everything’ ten times, Allah will write for him ten good deeds, efface ten evil deeds from him, and raise him ten degrees, and that day he is protected from every very disliked thing, guarded against shaytan, and no sin will overtake him in that day unless it is associating with Allah.” (At-Tirmidhi)

55. Al-Harith ibn Muslim at-Tamimi said, “The Prophet said to me, ‘When you pray Subh, say seven times before speaking, ‘O Allah, protect me from the Fire.’ If you die on that day, Allah will write for you protection from the Fire. When you pray Maghrib, say seven times before speaking, ‘O Allah, protect me from the Fire.’ If you die that night, Allah will write for you protection from the Fire.’ (an-Nasa’i, and Abu Dawud)

13. Encouraging what is said and done by someone who has a dream he dislikes

56. Jabir reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “When one of you has a dream he dislikes, he should spit to his left three times and seek refuge with Allah from the Accursed Shaytan three times and then turn over onto his other side.” (Muslim, Abu Dawud and an-Nasa’i)

57. Abu Qatada reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “The true dream is from Allah and the confused dream is from Shaytan. Whoever sees something he dsilieks should spit three times to his left and seek refuge from shaytan. It will not harm him” (Agreed upon. The four relate it. In one variant, “When he sees something he dislikes, he should seek refuge in Allah from its evil and from shaytan. He should spit three times to his left and not tell anyone about it.” They have the like of it from Abu Hurayra which says, “Ésomething he dislikes should not recount it to anyone, and he should get up and pray.”)

14. Encouraging ayats and dhikrs said after the obligatory prayers

58. Sumayy reported from Abu Salih that Abu Hurayra reported that the poor of the Muhajirun came to the Messenger of Allah and said, “The wealthy have appropriated the high degrees and abiding bliss.” He said, “How is that?” He said, “They pray as we pray and they fast as we fast, but they give sadaqa and we do not give sadaqa and they set free slaves and we do not set free slaves.” The Messenger of Allah said, “Shall I inform you of something by which you will overtake those who have preceded you and precede those who come after you and no one will be better than you unless he does the same as you do?” They said, “By all means, Messenger of Allah.” He said, “You should say ‘Glory be to Allah,’ ‘Praise be to Allah,’ and ‘Allah is greater’ thirty-three times after every prayer.”

Abu Salih said, “The poor Muhajirun then returned to the Messenger of Allah and said, “Our brothers who possess property heard about what we were doing and they have done the same.” The Messenger of Allah said, “That is a favour which Allah gives to anyone He wills.”

Sumayya said, “Some of my family related this hadith and said., “I was weak. He told you: Say ‘Glory be to Allah’ 33 times, ‘Praise be to Allah’ 33 times, and the takbir 34 times.” He said, “I returned to Abu Salih and said that to him and he took my hand and said, ‘Allah is great; Glory be to Allah, and Praise be to Allah’ until he said them all 33 times.”

(Agreed upon. This is the version of Muslim, He also has, “Anyone who say after every prayer, ‘Glory be to Allah’ thirty-three times, ‘Praise belongs to Allah’ thirty-three times and ‘Allah is greater’ thirty-three times and says to complete the hundred, ‘There is no god but Allah alone with no partner. He has the kingdom and He has the praise and He has power over everything,’ will be forgiven his errors, even if they are like the foam of the sea.” Malik and Ibn Khuzayma transmitted it, but Malik said, “His sins will be forgiven, even if they are like the foam of the sea.” Abu Dawud transmitted it. Abu Dharr said, “Messenger of Allah, the wealthy have appropriated the rewards.” In it he said, “They have excess wealth which they give sadaqa and we do not have wealth to give as sadaqa.” He said, “Abu Dharr, shall I teach you words by which you will catch those before you?” He said in it, “Say the takbir 33 times after every prayer .” He said in it, “Complete it with ‘There is no god but Allah.'” At-Tirmidhi and an-Nasa’i transmitted it.”)

59. Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported that the Messenger of Allah took him by the hand and said, “Mu’adh, by Allah, I love you.” Mu’adh said, “May my mother and father be your ransom, Messenger of Allah. By Allah, I love you.” He said, “Mu’adh, I advise you not to fail to say after every prayer, ‘O Allah, help me to remember You and thank You and worship You well.'” Mu’adh advised as-Sanabihi to do that. (Abu Dawud and an-Nasa’i)

15. Encouraging words said by someone who is alarmed at night

60. ‘Amr ibn Shu’ayb reported from his father from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah said, “When one you is alarmed in sleep, he should say, ‘I seek refuge with the perfect words of Allah from His anger, from the evil of His servants and from the whisperings of shaytan and lest they be present,’ and they will not harm him.” ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr used to teach it those of his children who were sensible, and in the case of those who were not, he wrote it in a page and then hung it from their necks.” (The three)

61. Abu’t-Tayyah said, “I asked ‘Abdu’r-Rahman ibn Khanbash at-Tamimi, who was old, ‘Did you met the Messenger of Allah ?’ ‘Yes,’ he replied. I asked, ‘What did he act do the night when the shaytans of the jinn came at him?’ He said, ‘The shaytan came down that night to the Messenger of Allah from the valleys and ravines. Among them was a shaytan with a fiery torch in his hand with which he intended to burn the face of the Messenger of Allah. Jibril descended to him and said, ‘Muhammad, speak.’ He asked, ‘What should I say?’ He said, ‘Say: “I seek refuge with the complete words of Allah from the evil of what He created, originated, and produced, and from the evil of what descends from the sky and from the evil of what ascends in it, and from the evil of the trials of the night and day, and from the evil of from the evil of every visitant at night except that which knocks with good, O All-Mericiful.”‘ The fire was put out and Allah Almighty defeated them.” (Ahmad and Abu Ya’la)

16. Encouraging what is said when one leaves his house for the mosque and elsewhere and when he enters it

62. Anas ibn Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “If, when a man leaveshis house, he says, ‘In the name of Allah. I have relied on Allah and there is no power nor strength except by Allah,’ he will he told, ‘It is enough for you. You have been guided, spared and protected,’ and Shaytan will be kept far from him.”

(At-Tirmidhi, an-Nasa’i; and Ibn Hibban)

63. Jabir reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah say, “When a man enters his house and mentions the name of Allah both when he enters and when he eats, Shaytan says to his companions, ‘You have no lodging and no meal.’ When he enters and does not mention Allah when he enters, Shaytan says, ‘You have lodging.’ When he does not mention Allah Almighty when he eats, he says, ‘You have lodging and a meal.'”(Muslim and the four)

17. Encouraging what is said when there is whispering in the prayers and at other times

64. ‘Uthman ibn Abi’l-‘As reported that he went to the Prophet and said, ‘Messenger of Allah, Shaytan comes between me and my prayer and my recitation and confuses me.’ He said, “That is a Shaytan called Khinzab. When you feel that, seek refuge in Allah from him and spit to your left three times.’ I did that and Allah removed it from me.” (Muslim.)

65. ‘A’isha reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Shaytan comes to one of you and asks, ‘Who created you?’ He says, ‘Allah. Then he says, ‘Who created Allah?’ If one of you experiences that, he should say, ‘I believe in Allah and His Messenger.’ That will remove it.'” (Ahmad, Abu Ya’la, and al-Bazzar)

67. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “Shaytan comes to one you and says, ‘Who created such-and-such? Who created such-and-such?’ until he says, ‘Who created your Lord?’ When it reaches that, seek refuge with Allah and leave it.”

(Agreed upon. In the varant of Muslim, “Say: ‘I believe in Allah and His Messenger.'” In the variant of Abu Dawud and an-Nasa’i, “Say, ‘He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten, and there is none like unto Him.’ Then he should spit to his left three times and seek refuge with Allah from Shaytan.” In the variant of an-Nasa’i, “He should seek refuge from him and his temptations.”)

Solve all your problems using Dua E Khidhar (AS)

Posted by islamicexorcism on November 16, 2010

In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful. May complete Peace, Blessings and Mercy of Allah be upon the Last Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) forever forever. The Dua mentioned in the post is known as “Dua of Khidhar AS”, the following incident is related to this dua..

An elderly pious person narrates that once I was intensely dominated by heart distress and fear. I left for Makkah Mukarramah in a state of disturbance without any means of transport and food provisions. I continued my journey in this way without food and water for three days. On the fourth day, I feared my death due to intense thirst and had no idea where to find a shady tree in the jungle under which I could have rested. I entrusted myself to Allah and sat down in such a way that my face was towards the direction of the Ka’aba. I fell asleep and in my dream I saw a person who extended his hand towards me and said, ‘Come, give me your hand’. I extended my hand, he shook it and exclaimed, ‘I bring you good news that you would perform Hajj – the holy pilgrimage in the best of health and would also visit the Blessed Prophet’s masjid.. I replied, ‘May Allah shower His blessings upon you, who are you?’ He answered, ‘I am Khidhar’. I asked him to pray for me. He directed me to recite the following supplication thrice: ‘O One Who is compassionate with His creation, O One who has complete knowledge of His creation, O One who has complete awareness of His creation! Treat us with gentleness O Compassionate, O All-Knowing, O All-Aware!’

He then exclaimed that this is a bounty that will benefit you forever. Whenever you encounter any difficulty or calamity, just recite these words and all difficulties and calamities will come to an end. After saying this, he disappeared.

I heard a voice calling out to me, ‘O Sheikh! O Sheikh!’ I awoke from my sleep after hearing his voice and saw that the person calling out to me was seated on a camel. He asked me if I had seen a young man with such and such appearance. I replied that I had not seen anyone. He went on to say that it had been seven days since one of his men left home and they had been informed that he was on his way to perform Hajj- the holy pilgrimage.

He then asked me where I planned to go. I replied wherever Allah takes me. He made the camel to sit down and dismounted it. He took out two white pieces of bread that had halwa (a sweet) in the middle and a container of water and gave them to me. I drank the water and ate some bread that was sufficient for me. He then made me sit on the camel behind him. We travelled for two nights and a day and found the caravan. He asked the people of the caravan about the young man, to discover that he was already a part of the caravan.

He left me there and went to search for the young man. A while later, he returned to me with the young man and said to him, ‘Son! It is because of the blessings of this man (pointing towards me) that Allah has made my search for you easy’. I left them to themselves and joined the caravan. Once again the same man met me, gave me a folded paper, kissed my hands and left. When I looked into it there were five gold coins. Using this amount, I paid for the rent of the camel, arranged for food and drink, performed pilgrimage and then went to Madinah. I visited the masjid of the Blessed Prophet and the grave of Hadhrat Ibrahim Khalil Ullah. Whenever I used to encounter any difficulty or calamity, I would recite the supplication that was given to me by Hadhrat Khidhar. I admire his virtue and generosity and am grateful to Allah for this blessing. (Reference: Roz Ar Riyyaheen)
