Earn Rewards of 80 years of Worship and Forgiveness in 10 minutes

In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful. May complete Peace, Blessings and Mercy of Allah be upon the Last Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam), who thought us ways and means of achieving the pleasure and love of Allah SWT. Among such practices of high virtue taught by our Prophet SAW, is the practice of reciting darood / salwaat 80 times on Friday ( Jummah ) after Salatul Asar. MashaAllah, this practice is so easy and simple that it will not take more than 10 minutes, but yet the rewards associated with it are huge and tremendous. We therefore request all our readers to dedicate 10 minutes of their time every Friday and InshaAllah, there will not regret for it in the hereafter, we should remember that if our time is not utilized in doing virtuous acts it would anyways be utilized in acts that would not be beneficial to us in the hereafter, therefore let us take heed and prepare for the hereafter. The below ahadith are widely accepted by many Muhaditheen (scholars of Hadith) and by the Ijma (consensus of scholars) in the past and we therefore, highly recommend our readers to dedicatedly practice it every Friday.

Hadith 1: Abu Hurairah RA reports that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said: Whoever recites the following Durood eighty times immediately after Asr Salaat on Friday, before standing up from his place, Allah will forgive eighty years of sins and grant him the reward equivalent to eighty years of worship.

Allahumma Salle ‘Alaa Muhammadinin Nabiyyil Ummiyyi wa-‘Alaa Aalehi wa-sallim Tasleeyma.
[O Allah bless Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet, and his family and grant them best of peace]

Darood 80 Years of Worship and Forgiveness

[Hadith Reference: Al-Jami Al-Saghir; Allamah Sakhaawi RA in Al-Qawl al-Badee’; Imaam Daraqutni RA and Al Muassah al-Rayyan]

Hadith 2: Rasulullah (Sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: Whoever sends salutations (salaat) to me eighty times on Friday, Allah will forgive eighty years of his sins. It was asked; O Rasulullah (Sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam): How should the salaat be? He replied:

Allah humma salli ala muhammadin abdika wa nabiyyika wa rasulikan nabiyyil ummi

[Hadith Reference: Al-Qawl al-Badee’; Al Muassah al-Rayyan; Takhreej Al-Ihya; Dar Al-Hadith; This hadith is graded as Hasan” by Abu Abdillah Al-Nu’man]

Easy Method of Reciting the Darood 80 times
The darood could be recited 80 times in any way by using any method. Many people do not recite it thinking that counting 80 times will be difficult, we have therefore highlighted a few methods below that are a very easy and simple.

Method 1: Using fingers of the Right hand: On every finger recite the darood 4 times, you could use the finger joints for the purpose of counting. This would complete the count of 20 times on all the five fingers of the right hand. Repeat this procedure on right hand three more times to complete the count of 80.

Counting Darood 80 times on Right hand

Method 2: Using Tasbi(String of Beads): Take a tasbi that has about 100 beads. Count about 20 beads and tie a string after 20 beads as a marker or seperator. Now one can easily count the darood 80 times on remaining 80 beads.

sallam aleikum, may Allah reward you people for showing us truth way of ALLAH S.W.T
Allah has concluded everything, what is reward for good deed if not good reward. Thanks

    • Walikumussalaam Brother! What ever good things you learn, plz spread it across this would be sawaba jaariah to you. The quran says “So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.”[99:7-8], this verse teaches us that the reward of good will always be good and rewards of evil will always be evil. We should remember that Allah’s mercy is infinite and therefore He multiples the rewards of whom He likes as mentioned in the following verse “To those people who display a great determination to exhibit a fine morality throughout their lives, remaining steadfast in times of difficulty, and exhibiting behavior pleasing to Him, Allah multiplies their rewards many times over:They will be given their reward twice over, because they have been steadfast… (Surat al-Qasas, 54)”. And Allah knows the best.Wasalaam

    hello brother,

after salaat Ishaa, i recited in prayer position when we finish the salaat, all zikar and then i have recited the 2 of the 80 years worship and forgiveness; during that and after that i was like fainting, but did not completely fainted.
    is this normal,?

    • Assalaamualikum Brother ! Even for normal Muslims who are not in practice of reciting Quran or Zikar, reciting them for some longer time than usual might make them tired, however, with continuous practice one will no longer feel tired unless the counts are increased again. Don’t worry to much and please continue the recitations daily and your spiritual strength will increase, inshaallah. Since this is Ramdhan, please increase your zikar as the rewards are multiplied and make the best use of your time.
To test you are free from influences or sihir and jinn, please close your eyes and listen to daily for about 21x days.
      And Allah knows the best!

Salamalaikum Mashallah on your Ibbadat. Keep your ibaadat secret unless Allah forces you to share with companions who say Mashallah Often.

My Opinion is Treat Yourself for Nazar and Sihr. Ask Allah for Cure and Guidence to a solution first. ISLAM IS EASY.
Good destroys falsehood. If Quran is not enough for healing then nothing will be. Shifaa dosent come from pharmacy or creation or operation.

Find out on Hadith of Nazar.

O Allah give my brother more then me.

      Jazakallah Khair

    • Walikumussalaam! Brother as per the hadith it’s necessary to recite the complete darood. If you cannot recite, take printouts of the article and go to your local masjid and discuss it with elders and scholars. You will be rewarded for all the efforts that you do. Wassalaam

i watch so many vedios of islamic exorcism, the shaitan or jinn doesnt harm raqi, as i heard the jinn or shaitan attack raqi. is it correct or not. if yes, why jinn did not attack these raqis.

    Inshallah get a ans soon

    • omar said

Because Those The raqi are Allah Alam in Higher Spiritual level than the other raqi. Usually Some Raqi do not Underestimate Shaytain or Djinns. So they do An Amal to make theirself Spiritually Strong before they do the main amal to exorcise djinn. So the djinn cannot harm anyone.
During the ruqyah the raqi will invite djinn to islam. So the djinn may not harm anyone and has a chance for ask Forgiveness To Allah Ta’ala. So the djinn has a chance to enter Paradise.

I heard that some of the sheik or raqi or just muslim(beginner field) when they read the quran Angels can come to them and help them.

Assalamualaykum… I would like to ask if it is okay to recite the Darood more than 80 times? I prefered to recite it 100 times after Asr Salaat. Jazak Allahu Khairan..

    • Walikumussalaam ! Since 80 times is established in hadith, it would be preferable to recite 80 first and make intention that you have completed acting upon this hadith and then pause for some time and recite 20 more to complete count of 100 and only Allah’s knows the best. We also recommend you to discuss this with your local scholars. Wassalaam
